The Annual Midnight Charity Run is an exciting event that unites runners, sponsors, and volunteers to make a life-changing impact. This marathon is a thrilling challenge where runners dash through the night, racing against the clock to make an impact. With every second counting, you’re not just testing your endurance—you’re fighting for change.
Your participation directly supports:
My First Job Program– Providing vocational training to help young women secure safe employment and a brighter future.
Human Trafficking Prevention– Funding vital monitoring stations that intercept and rescue at-risk girls before they become victims.
For over 17 years, this event has brought together compassionate individuals who believe in the power of community action. With every step, you help break cycles of poverty, prevent exploitation, and empower women with education and opportunity.

Time: 23:00 pm (Please arrive at 22:00-22:15 to get registered, collect your runner pack, and warm up. There will be secure storage to store your belongings during the run.)

250 RMB/runner
23:00 pm (Please arrive at 22:00-22:15 to get registered, collect your runner pack, and warm up. Registration before April 25th, 2025 or when full to get a quality shortsleeve race shirt.
100% of registration fee/fundraising will support the work of the Shenzhen Charity Federation Captivating Fund.

11th Annual Midnight Charity Run
Total Amount Raised: RMB 240,000
The impact that this will have on our projects over the coming months, and those whose lives they affect, cannot be overstated. This will allow us to continue:
- Funding the My First Job Program which will give 30 girls chef training, and the opportunity for stable employment; and
- Funding the human trafficking monitoring station, allowing the station to operate for a year, preventing young girls from being trafficked.
10th Annual Midnight Charity Run
Total Amount Raised: RMB 225,000 (USD 32,500)
Between now and October 2019, the Midnight Run will make it possible for:
- 40 single moms in Qinghai Province to rest easy knowing education for their unschooled girls has now become a reality;
- Full funding for a whole year of a monitoring station that exists to intercept girls before they become victims of Human Trafficking (this will save 10 girls a month); and
- Part funding of the ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and compliance costs of the Captivating support team in China (ensuring we keep focused on key outcomes)
