The Annual Midnight Charity Run is an exciting event that unites runners, sponsors, and volunteers to make a life-changing impact. Experience the thrill of the midnight air as you push your limits. Whether you’re tackling the 5KM or the 10KM in under 60 minutes, your race against the clock directly fuels our mission to transform lives. With every second counting, you’re not just testing your endurance—you’re fighting for change.

The area around Lian Hua Shan park was once again buzzing with Shenzhen’s most dedicated charity runners for the 18th Annual Midnight Charity Run.
This much-loved event unites runners, sponsors and volunteers to support underprivileged girls’ education. We were all so grateful for perfect, dry running conditions!
A huge thank you to the amazing race founder, Greg Schultheis, for his amazing organisation and fundraising stamina for the past 18 years. Thank you too to all of the sponsors and 77 registered runners who kindly gave up their Saturday night and took a chance on the weather, Vista S-K Medical center for being on standby, and our amazing race marshal volunteers.
Our brilliant race marshals arrive on their bikes year after year, to manage the course, keep us safe and cheer our runners on with huge enthusiasm! A huge thank you to all of our media partners, Now Shenzhen, That’s PRD, Here! and Global Friendship and this brilliant running community, who spread the word every year.
